The ASG Group is a team of sales coaches, consultants and specialists, with a unique insight to the challenges, strategies and success of 100’s of Sales Managers and Directors across the UK and Ireland.
More importantly the team has a detailed understanding of the changed nature of buying in large organisations. In April 2010 it is set to publish ‘The Buying Revolution’ a book revealing how buyers want to be sold to – based on research with some of the world’s largest companies.
The ASG Group is led by B2B Sales Coaches John O Gorman and Ray Collis, backed up by a team of 6 sectorally focused consultants in the UK and US.
John O Gorman
John has sold and marketed software on a national and international (UK, German, US, Canada and South Africa) basis for:

John is trained in marketing and international selling methodologies. He returned from North America in 2003 and completed an International MBA in The Michael Smurfit Business School.
John holds a B-Comm and Higher Diploma in Marketing from NUI Galway and is member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and MBA Association of Ireland.

Ray Collis
Ray, who began his career in sales and marketing almost 2 decades ago, has held Marketing Manager, Sales Manager and Managing Director positions in dynamic professional services and technology companies, both in the UK and Ireland.
He had managed sales teams selling to the UK’s largest companies and institutions, such as Alstrom, GlaxoSmithKline, South Staffordshire Plc., HP/Danone, BT, HBOS, etc.
Ray has supported international market expansion by companies as diverse as by ADP/Saville Systems, Norsk Hydro and Neodata.
With B.Comm and M.B.S. degrees, Ray has delivered successful export projects in the UK, US, Russia and key European Markets for private companies, the European Community and other bodies.
